The other size featured at the museum is based on the Gundam Converge line of super-deformed figures, and stands at 2″ in height. These smaller figures also offer a smaller price point: $30,000 for the gold figure and $2,000 for the silver. Also on display at the event are a number of platinum art cards, featuring art of the Gundam, the Zaku II, and infamous antagonist Char Aznable, priced at $120 each. The exhibit will remain open until Sepember 27th, so fans have plenty of time to save up some cash for these fancy Gundam collectibles!

The “Kamen Rider” series of live-action television shows is celebrating its upcoming 45th anniversary in 2016 with a series of gold statues! Depicting the original Kamen Rider from the first show, which debuted in 1971, these statues will come in two sizes, 4 inches and 8 inches, and both will be sculpted entirely in solid gold! These figures will be manufactured alongisde Tokuriki Honten, a company known for its 300 years of gold casting and metalwork, ensuring the quality of these valuable memorabilia pieces.
These pieces, which are meant for the most diehard fans of the franchise, will be available for preorder starting from April 24th until December 31, 2015, with the figures releasing sometime in 2016. Thanks to being made entirely of solid gold, these pieces will cost a pretty penny for collectors, ranging from $6,500 for the 4″ version to $47,000 for the larger 8″ version. For some, having a gold statue of one of Japan’s most iconic superheroes will be well worth the price!
