Crayola Experience opens at MoA

The Crayola Experience is finally open at the Mall of America! Announced last summer, the store opened its doors in late May, and has since become a popular exhibit for both children and parents alike! The MoA Crayola Experience is the third of its kind, with two other locations in Orlando, Florida, and Easton, Pennsylvania, and features over 25 activities and fun exhibits for visitors to take part in.
These include coloring stations with thousand of crayon colors to choose from, interactive glow-in-the-dark doodle boards, modelling stations with Crayola Model Magic clay, digital photo booths, drip art exhibits, and much more! The Crayola Experience also features a cafe for hungry kids to recharge, as well as a Crayola Store for customers to take home some Crayola memorabilia of their very own. The Crayola Experience is open every day from 10AM to 7PM, so go and check out this cool and fun new interactive store for yourself!

Shanghai Disney Resort opens its doors early

After years of construction since its announcement in 2011, the Shanghai Disney Resort theme park in China is finally open for tourists! Today marks the first day of a six-week trial of operations before the park’s official opening on June 16, allowing select customers, cast members, resort partners, and more to experience the brand-new park for the very first time. The park, which includes six themed areas, hotels, and a shopping district, is the largest Disney resort in Asia, outclassing similar Disney resorts in Hong Kong and Tokyo, Japan. The resort will also feature a distinctly Chinese-themed design overtone, including themes from Shikumen architecture and design elements from the Chinese zodiac. Fans that aren’t lucky enough to get access to this pre-opening trial period can look forward to the June 16th opening date, when the park will be made available to all customers. LEGOLAND Hotel opens in Florida

LEGOLAND Florida has just opened the doors of a brand new LEGO-themed hotel to its visitors! The LEGOLAND Hotel, which opened on May 15th, stands as the largest and one of the only LEGO-themed hotels in the world, and offers plenty of attractions and unique services for fans hoping to spend a night with their favorite building block toy. The hotel hosts 152 rooms, divided into Adventure, Kingdom, Pirates, and LEGO Friends themes, with every room featuring iconic LEGO themes, decals, and pieces in all of its furniture.
To keep children and adults of all ages engaged, the rooms include their own building LEGO sets for families to enjoy on downtime, as well as scavenger hunts throughout the site that unlock unique treasure chests filled with goodies. Including a fully functional LEGO restaurant and swimming pool, the hotel will also host regular LEGO workshops and events, making it a must-see locations for any fans visiting LEGOLAND Florida this summer!
