After the recent fan favorite movie, Pacific Rim, Fans have been waiting to see what else Hollywood-based special effects studio Legacy Effects will work on next. Now, a collaboration has been announced between Legacy studios and Japanese-based company Ookaze no Okorusama, chaired by renowned anime creator and director Yoshiyuki Tomino! Tomino, who is known across the world for creating the Mobile Suit Gundam anime and franchise, will be holding a press conference on January 21st to unveil his first project together with Legacy Effects, bringing the entertainment studios from the East and the West together under one collaboration. This team-up has said that they want to make “movies based on Japanese manga and animation from Hollywood to the world”, making fans excited to see what exactly they have up their sleeve. Alongside this project, Tomino has also been working on the upcoming anime project, G-Reko, which is set to debut sometime in 2014.
