Black Friday deals at TOMODACHI

Black Friday is just around the corner for eager shoppers everywhere, and TOMODACHI is getting ready to celebrate with a number of special deals and offers! This year also marks Hello Kitty’s 40th anniversary, and TOMODACHI will be offering exclusive 50% off deals on brand-new anniversary merchandise to commemorate the occasion. Specifically, we will be offering a 40th Anniversary Hello Kitty throw blanket, as well as a set of limited edition Hello Kitty glasses! The blanket, which is originally priced at $65, will be on sale for $32.50, while the cups will be marked down from their original $35 price to $17.50, but this offer will only be available on Black Friday morning from 6AM to noon. This limited-time offer will be available at both our Rosedale Shopping Center location and our Mall of America store, so stop by this Friday morning to take advantage of these special deals!
On top of that, customers who visit either of our locations will be treated to free gifts with their purchases! With October 31st right around the corner, make sure to visit TOMODACHI this Halloween to take part in our Trick or Treat event! Come visit our Rosedale Shopping Center location on Friday, October 31st to take part in our candy giveaway from 5PM to 7PM. On top of that, our Mall of America location is also taking part, and will be handing out candy and treats from 4:30PM to 7:30PM! Make sure to wear your best Halloween costume to either of our locations, and have a great time with us during this spooky celebration!

TOMODACHI opening a new location at MoA

We at TOMODACHI are very excited to finally announce the opening of a brand-new TOMODACHI store at the Mall of America! This new lifestyle store, which is planned to open in Mid-May to June, is located on the third floor at 316 N Garden, Bloomington, MN 55425. This new store will offer a unique experience for shoppers and artists alike, including products like art toys, model kits, gadgets, apparel, stationery, character merchandise, art supplies, unique imports, and many more. We will also be hosting art shows, workshops, and many fun events at this location, so stay tuned for more news. We’ll be happy to see you there!
The Mall of America is located in Bloomington, Minnesota. One of the most popular malls in America, the MoA hosts many events where fans can meet and greet their favorite celebrities or take part in interactive events alongside a unique shopping experience.
A huge expansion for MoA is planned to open by the end of 2015, and will include large exhibition spaces, a new upscale restaurant Hall, a 14-story JW Marriott luxury hotel, office spaces, a variety of new high-end retail boutiques, and more. There are also plans in the years to come to expand the Mall by adding indoor water resorts, indoor skating rink, a wider selection of department stores, and even dinner theater and residential units. Barbie: Dreamhouse Experience at MoA

The Mall of America has recently opened the doors to its new Barbie playhouse and gallery this February, titled “Barbie: The Dreamhouse Experience”, and offers a wide variety of interactive exhibits for Barbie fans young and old alike! The exhibit, located on the Southeast corner of the 3rd level, includes a life-size recreation of the Barbie Dreamhouse, recreating rooms like the kitchen, library, living room, make-up studios, and even Barbie’s endless closets and shoe rooms! Each of these rooms offers a unique experience for the visitors, including cooking, dressing up, playing games and more.
A number of Barbie figures from over the years are also on display for older fans to remember the classic Barbie stylings while showing younger fans the origins of the iconic character. Finally, a 6,500 square foot entertainment area is available for visitors to show off their moves with a pop star stage, fashion runway, costumes, and games! This exhibit will be open for years to come, making this a fun experience you and your family will want to visit time and time again!
