New Godzilla trailer unveils exclusive monsters

There has been a huge buzz surrounding the upcoming Godzilla movie, with speculation and rumors surrounding the plot of the movie and the monster itself on the rise. With the most recent trailer released in Asia, more details have been revealed about the movie and a brand new species of monster that Godzilla will combat. This species is known as “Muto”, and has been shown flying in the trailer as well as facing off against the classic movie monster. The trailer suggests that Muto is a man-made creature, and that Godzilla will once again play the role of both antagonist and protagonist as it faces off against the human armies as well as the terrifying Muto. The trailer even hints at the return of Godzilla’s infamous atomic breath, which was absent in the previous American-made 1998 Godzilla film. The movie will release in a matter of weeks on May 16th, so fans should definitely make time to check out the latest Godzilla film in over a decade!

Godzilla movie set commemorates 60th anniversary

It has been 60 years since Godzilla first appeared on the big screen across Japan, astounding audiences with its state-of-the-art effects and fostering an entire genre of movies. With the brand new 2014 Godzilla movie by American film company Legendary Pictures, Japanese company Toho has decided to pay tribute to their monster icon by releasing all 28 Godzilla films on DVD and Blu-Ray! Containing ever Godzilla movie from 1954’s Godzilla to 2004’s Godzilla Final Wars, this compilation will even feature the 1998 American-made Godzilla film! The DVD set of these movies will release on May 14th, mere days before the release of the brand new Godzilla film, while the Blu-Ray versions will release in two batches on June 18th and July 16th. Original Godzilla movie to make a US theatrical run

With the brand-new Godzilla movie made by Legendary Studios and Japanese-based movie studio Toho releasing in theaters this coming May, there has been a lot of excitement about the classic kaiju. Now, for the first time ever, American audiences will have the chance to view the original 1954 Godzilla movie on the big screen, unedited and uncut thanks to Rialto Pictures! While this classic monster movie originally came over to America in 1956 as a completely altered version, with over 40 minutes of footage edited out, and many scenes replaced with American actors. Now, with this upcoming restoration of the original film, American fans will finally be able to experience Godzilla as it was originally intended! Rialto Pictures has even recreated the original Japanese poster for American audiences, staying true to the original design and actors. The film will be released at the TCM Classic Film Festival at Hollywood on April 12th, and then begin airing in cities across the United States in the following weeks. With this and the brand-new Godzilla film coming to theaters nationwide in a matter of months, it’s a great time for Godzilla fans, old and new!
